Transfiguration and the Prophetic Word
The inclusion and importance of the transfiguration story in three of the four Gospel Narratives (Matthew, Mark and Luke), may have another extremely significant purpose. That is, to validate the Apostles to speak authoritatively to the Church on behalf of King Jesus himself.
