The Crucified Life: Seven Words from the Cross (Houston, TX: Bible Study Media, Inc., 2014)

WORDS ARE POWERFUL.

THE WORDS OF JESUS, ESPECIALLY SO.

The Crucified Life Devotional provides a daily space in which we can meditate on Jesus’ final words from the cross. As we consider His words, we understand and identify with His suffering in a way that challenges us, transforms us, and ultimately brings us hope. Whether used as part of The Crucified Life small group study series or individually, this Daily Devotional will help you hear Jesus’ words from the cross in a personal and life changing way.

  1. Words are very powerful indeed. The Holy Spirit has given me a thirst for more of Jesus and His words and deeds. I truly want to know Him more intimately. I use the example of Him on the cross often in my job/ministry. I am a hospice nurse. When speaking with my patients I often speak of the cross and how Jesus made a way for our sins to be forgiven. I see 3 men on their “deathbed”, just as my patients are. One accepted Jesus, the other did not. His powerful words to them influenced their decision. One chose to accept that gift on his deathbed. Sadly the other man did not. I am so excited about your teaching and in this new year I plan to use what God has given you to give to others as a tool to learn more of sweet Jesus. Thankyou for allowing Him to use you. I will pray for you as you continue to minister and teach.

    • Thank you Dawn! That is a faithful testimony. Thank you for your ministry. I have always had great respect for Hospice nurses. The Lord uses you in amazing ways.
      Blessings,
